I love a good slice of avocado toast as much as the next person. It encompasses the most pristine balance of toasted hearty bread and creamy green goodness. Despite its over-saturation of late, the combination never seems to get old. Bread selection is an integral part of the avocado toast process, it can truly make or break your toast euphoria. I always opt for a super hearty fiber-rich nut and seed combo like Eli's health bread or a toasted sprouted grain. To elevate my avo toast game, I mash a hard boiled egg atop the chunky green layer of avocado, crumble kale chips, and add a light dusting of chili flakes and maldon sea salt.
